Information You Submit
A third-party provider receives the name, telephone number, or address entered in a search form and supplies the results. Our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. If you contact us, we receive the information included in your message and use it to answer you.
Information Collected Automatically
The hosting service records standard technical details, such as IP address, browser type, visited pages, and timestamps. We review combined statistics to maintain the service and understand general page use. Basic analytics and, where applicable, advertising measurement may rely on cookies or similar tools.
How Information Is Used
Collected information supports site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and page improvements. We neither sell lists of visitors nor create individual visitor profiles.
Links to Other Websites
Links lead to county and state portals, libraries, archives, and outside search services. Information submitted after leaving this site is controlled by the destination's privacy policy. The same rule applies to sponsored results supplied by a third party.
When Information Is Shared
Providers that host or maintain the service process server logs on our behalf. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic information described above. Data may also be disclosed when valid legal process requires it.
Safeguarding Site Data
An encrypted connection protects traffic to the site, and logs are retained only as long as needed for the purposes stated above. Visitors do not create accounts here, so the site holds no user password or account profile.
Users Under 18
This service is intended for adults, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Contact us if a minor may have submitted information so it can be removed.
Privacy Choices and Requests
Georgia does not currently provide a universal deletion right against every data broker through a general consumer privacy statute. Record-specific Georgia and federal laws still protect particular information, including the redactions in O.C.G.A. § 50-18-72 and motor-vehicle data restricted by 18 U.S.C. §§ 2721-2725. Since little site data is retained, a request usually involves material under our control in the contact mailbox or routine server logs. Send a request through the Contact page. Georgia, DeKalb County, and Decatur custodians remain responsible for their public records.
Updates to This Policy
A revised policy will be published here. Continued use after publication signifies acceptance of the updated terms.
